incove Terms of Service

Effective date: July 1, 2026 · Operator: incove team

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator and users regarding the use of incove ("the Service"). By signing up for or using the Service, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

incove is a closed service for sharing and looking back on photos, videos, and messages only within the close circles you belong to, such as family and friends. There is no public feed, discovery, stranger matching, or follow feature, and content is visible only inside the group it was shared to.

2. Encryption and storage of content

The contents of the photos, videos, and sealed messages you upload are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE), so no third party, including the operator, can view them. The operator relays and stores content only in encrypted form. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Eligibility

The Service is currently in a beta phase for adults (18+). Child accounts and guardian-consent procedures will be introduced later with separate safeguards. You are responsible for keeping your account and authentication credentials secure.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

Although this is a closed service based on family and small circles of acquaintances, the creation, posting, sharing, or solicitation of illegal/harmful content — including child sexual abuse material (CSAE), non-consensual intimate imagery, hate speech, and incitement to violence or crime — is strictly prohibited.

You must not:

5. Reporting, content removal, and account sanctions

If you violate these Terms, then upon another member's report and under these Terms, the content may be blocked or removed and the account suspended temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.

The operator responds to violations through the following system.

When the operator becomes aware of CSAE, it removes it and fulfills its legal duties, including reporting to investigative and relevant authorities.

6. Storage and sharing scope of content

Content you upload is first stored in your own space, and you choose which group to share it to. Sharing outside a group occurs only with your explicit consent.

7. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account directly under Settings → Delete account, and if you cannot use the app, you may request deletion at hello@incove.app. Data handling on deletion follows the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Rights to the content you upload belong to you. The operator processes content only as needed to provide the Service (relay/display within groups) and, given E2EE, does not view or use its contents. Rights to the Service itself (software, brand, logo) belong to the operator.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," and to the extent permitted by law the operator is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure, user fault, or third-party infrastructure failure. Because the operator cannot decrypt content under E2EE, content may be unrecoverable if you lose your private key.

10. Changes to the Terms

The operator may change these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, announcing the effective date and content of changes. If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the operator and users related to the Service are subject to the court designated under applicable law.

12. Contact

Inquiries about these Terms and the Service can be sent to hello@incove.app, and safety/report matters to safety@incove.app. (Operator: incove team, [business reg. no. 입력 필요])
