ECHO · 메아리

A letter sent
to the future.

Seal today's feelings together with a video, and it stays locked until the day you set. To the you of six months from now, the us of a year away — words that travel across time.

Words that time will carry.

Seal for: 1 day to 5 years · 6 months by default

What is an Echo?

An Echo is incove's time-capsule feature: a message left today, sealed together with a video until a date you set. You can lock it from one day up to five years (six months by default), and not even the sender can open it before that day. The contents are end-to-end encrypted and unreadable to incove's servers, which only control when it is delivered.

Choose the day it opens

From one day out to any date up to five years away — six months by default. Until that day arrives, not even you can open it early.

  • Schedule for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations
  • Sealed Echoes carry a lock icon and a wax seal
  • A cinematic unseal animation at the moment it opens

The time-lock is enforced by the server

Message contents are end-to-end encrypted on the server, which only refuses to deliver them before the set time. It controls when an Echo arrives — never what it says.

  • The server holds no content-decryption key
  • Delivery is gated purely on the unlock time
  • Manage incoming and sent Echoes in your mailbox

FAQ

Time capsule Echoes — FAQ

How long can an Echo stay sealed?

From one day up to five years, with six months as the default.

Can I open a sealed Echo early?

No. Before the unlock time you set, even the sender can't open it. That's the promise of a time capsule.

Can incove read my Echo's contents?

No. Echoes are end-to-end encrypted. The server only controls when they're delivered and never holds the key to decrypt the contents.
